Driving Licence Changes

Important changes from 8th June 2015

From 8th June 2015, the paper counterpart to the photocard driving licence will not be valid and will no longer be issued by DVLA.

As a result, from 8th June 2015, if you wish to hire a vehicle from us you will need to follow the link below to request a unique code from GOV.UK which will allow us to obtain your driving licence details such as categories of vehicles you can drive and any valid endorsements on your licence.

The code will last for up to 21 days and will allow us to make any necessary checks.

You can also request a code by calling 0300 083 0013.

Please bring the photocard part of your licence as this is still valid and required as a form of I.D.

Customers who hold the older style paper licence are also required to use this service as any endorsements will no longer be recorded on the document.

Please ensure you bring the unique code with you when you come to collect the vehicle.
